Under the restructuring of Madhya Pradesh, the State of Chhattisgarh came into existence on 1st November 2000. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission was formed under Act 315 of the Constitution of India on 23rd May 2001.

In the Preliminary Examinations there will be 2 compulsory papers of 02 hours duration each. Both the question papers will hove objective type multiple choice questions. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 300/- for SC/ ST/ OBC category of Chhattisgarh and Rs. 400/- all other candidates through Credit/ Debit card/ Internet Banking OR Challan

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure themselves before applying that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination.

(1) Online applications are invited by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission for recruitment to the vacant posts of Civil Judge (entry level) under the Law and Legislative Affairs Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh from Indian citizens and candidates of categories recognized by the Government of India.

The number of vacancies to be filled through the exam is 48. In which 01 (OA One Arm / OL – One Leg / BL – Both Leg / OAL-One Arm and One Leg) vacancies are reserved for candidates with benchmark 40 percent or more disabilities.

Before applying online, the candidates should ensure themselves by observing the rules whether they are eligible to appear in the examination or not. (2) Conditions of service:-
(i) The conditions of service shall be governed by the Chhattisgarh Lower Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006 as amended.
(ii) Appointment to the post of Civil Judge (Entry Level) Chhattisgarh shall be subject to Rule 11 of the Lower Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006.
(iii) The service may be terminated by giving one month’s notice by either party.
(iv) Selected candidates will have to produce Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the authorized Medical Officer
(v) at their own cost

(4) Probation Period:- Selected candidates will be appointed on probation of 03 years.
Important Note:-
(i) Candidate should have the above essential educational qualifications, experience And it is necessary to hold other qualifications till the last date prescribed for applying online.
(ii) No certificate is required to be attached with the online application.

(5) Prescribed age limit:-

Candidate’s age as on 01.01.2023 Not less than 21 years and not more than 35 years, higher age

Relaxation in limit will be eligible as follows:- If the candidate belongs to scheduled caste,
(i) scheduled tribe and other backward class (non-creamy layer) notified by the Government of Chhattisgarh and is a native of the state, he will be given a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit.
(ii) Women (Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and For unreserved) the upper age limit will be relaxable by 10 years.
(iii) Higher for permanent/temporary employees of Government of Chhattisgarh There will be a relaxation of 03 years in the age limit.
(iv) According to Chhattisgarh Government, General Administration Department letter number F 3-2/2015/1-3, Raipur dated 30.01.2019, the maximum age limit including all relaxations will not exceed 45 years.
(6) Before applying online, candidates should ensure themselves by checking their eligibility according to the required educational qualifications and age shown in the advertisement and fill the application form only after being completely satisfied with the condition of fulfilling all the eligibility conditions. Including in the examination or inviting for the interview will never mean that the candidate has been considered qualified and if the candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the selection, his/her application will be canceled without giving any information and his/her candidature will be terminated. will be given.
(7) Submission of desired documents before the interview- Before the interview, it will be mandatory to submit attested copies of the following certificates and mark sheets along with self or any gazetted officer, after which the eligibility of the candidate will be checked. (b) It is mandatory for married women candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes to submit caste certificate bearing their name along with father’s name, and it will not be accepted if the caste certificate is not submitted accordingly.
(c) Reservation to Other Backward Classes is payable only on the basis of non-creamy layer. The determination of non-creamy layer is done on the basis of annual income, therefore, along with the caste certificate, the candidate of other backward class will also have to attach such income certificate for the proof of coming under non-creamy layer, which has been issued within the preceding 3 years from the date of application. have been issued

(8) Employer’s No Objection Certificate :-
(i) If the candidate is working in Government Department / Corporation / Board / Undertaking under Chhattisgarh Government or working in the service of Government of India or any of their undertakings or nationalized / non-nationalized bank, private Institutions and working in any university, they can apply online, but before applying online or immediately after that, they should obtain “no objection certificate” from their appointing authority / head of office and present it at the time of document verification.
(ii) If such a candidate is invited by the Commission for an interview, he shall be given a copy of the application submitted for issue of No Objection Certificate to the Appointing Authority/Head of Office before the interview and the said application shall be given by the Appointing Authority/Head of Office. Acknowledgment (in which the date of receipt of application is also mentioned) will have to be submitted.
(iii) If the candidate fails to submit the “No Objection Certificate” as mentioned above, then in such a situation he will be interviewed, but in the event of selection after the interview, his appointment will be canceled as a result of not being relieved by the concerned institution etc. If the situation arises, the concerned department of the Commission/Government will not be responsible for it and no representation of such candidate will be accepted in this regard.

Criminal Prosecution:-

(A) A candidate shall be liable to criminal prosecution who is found by the Commission to be guilty of—
(i) obtaining or attempting to support his candidature by any means at the examination or interview, or
(ii) impersonation, or
(iii) has impersonated any person, or
(iv) has produced forged documents or documents which have been altered yes, or
(v) has furnished false information or suppressed material information at any stage of the selection, or
(vi) has adopted any other irregular or unfair means to secure admission to the examination/interview, or
(vii) using or attempting to use unfair means in the examination/interview hall, or
(viii) harassing the staff engaged in conducting the examination/interview or has threatened or caused bodily harm, or
(ix) Any instructions or other instructions given to the candidates in the admit card/call letter, including instructions given orally by the Center Head/Assistant Center Head/Inspector/authorised other employee engaged in the conduct of the examination as per the arrangement established by the Head of the Centre.
(x) misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall or at the interview, or

In addition to criminal prosecution against the candidates found guilty in the above manner, the following action can also be taken against them-
(i) his candidature may be canceled by the Commission for the selection for which he is a candidate and/or
(ii) he shall be debarred either permanently or for a specified period from—

(a) the examination to be held by the Commission or the selection made by it.

(b) to be debarred from employment by or / under the State Government

(c) if he is already in service under the Government, he shall be liable to disciplinary action for the contravention as aforesaid. Provided that any penalty resulting from the above proceedings shall not be charged unless

(i) the candidate has not been given an opportunity of making such representation in writing as he may wish to make in this regard, and

(ii) the representation submitted by the candidate within the period allowed has not been considered.

Disqualification: – Chhattisgarh Civil Service (General Conditions of Service) Rules, As per rule 6 of 1961 the following shall be the disqualification :-

(i) any male candidate who has more than one wife living and any female candidate who has married a person already having a wife living, for any service or post But will not be eligible for appointment.

Provided that the Government may, if satisfied that there are special reasons for doing so, exempt such candidate from the operation of this rule.
(ii) no candidate shall be appointed to any service or post unless he has been found, on such medical examination as may be prescribed, to be in good mental and bodily health and free from any defect likely to interfere with the performance of the duties of the service or post; Should not be found free from mental or physical defects.
(iii) Provided that in exceptional cases a candidate may be admitted to a service or post on a temporary basis before his medical examination, subject to the condition that No candidate shall be appointed to any service or post unless he has passed such medical examination as may be prescribed.
(iv) Must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any defect of mind or body likely to interfere with the performance of the duties of the service or post.
(v) No candidate, who has married before the minimum age fixed for marriage, shall be eligible for appointment to any service or post.
Identification mark:-
Candidates should write their roll number only at the designated place on the answer-book. Do not write your roll number, your name or any other such mark on any other part of the answer sheet. So that there can be some understanding about the identity of the examinee. It is also prohibited to attach any other material with the answer sheet.
The candidate shall not highlight any line or any part of the answer in his answer sheet. Drawing any picture, sign, religious picture or writing a word in the answer book other than the relevant subject will be considered as an identification mark. In cases with identification mark, it will not be mandatory to inform the applicant and his/her candidature will be canceled without any information.
Selection Process :-
The essential educational qualifications prescribed for selection to the advertised post are the minimum and mere possession of these qualifications does not entitle the candidate to be called for examination/interview.
(i) Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in Main Examination and Interview. On the basis of merit and category wise will be done.
(ii) Candidates will be selected through examination and interview.
(iii) Scheme of examination and syllabus is given in Appendix ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’.
Application fee for online application:- Rs.400/- for applicants resident outside the state of Chhattisgarh.
(i) (Rupees four hundred) application fee will be payable. No examination fee will be charged from the applicants who are local residents of Chhattisgarh state. Portal fee for online application for all candidates is Rs. 40 + GST ​​fee will be payable but in the process of paid error correction, error correction fee and payment gateway fee will be payable by the candidate as per the prescribed rate.
After the expiry of the time period for online application and error correction, the candidates will be given an opportunity for correction only in the errors related to date of birth, gender, class, domicile and disability, for a fee, for the time period shown in the advertisement, considering it as a special case.
(i) For paid error correction, a fee of Rs.500/- will be charged from the concerned candidate for correction of one or more errors. If a candidate corrects the error of No in place of Yes in the resident column of Chhattisgarh in the online portal, then the candidate will have to pay the fee as per rules. If the error is corrected in place of No in the Chhattisgarh resident column, then the amount of fee will not be refunded.
(ii) In the process of paid error correction, portal fee and payment gateway fee will be payable by the candidate as per the prescribed rate.
(iii) After paid error correction, any candidate will not be allowed any
No opportunity for error correction will be provided.
(iv) After paid error correction, the data of the concerned candidate will be treated as final and the said data will be verified on the basis of original documents during document verification before interview/final selection.
(v) The process of paid error correction will be completely online.
Regarding examination:-
(i) There is no provision for revaluation or revaluation in the examination system conducted by the commission. Therefore, no representation will be entertained in this regard.
(ii) During the examination, if any candidate has to complain about any typographical error in any question or answer option, or any error in the question / answer option or any other type of error. So he will have to file an online objection within the stipulated time period given by the Commission and in this regard the necessary documents should be submitted to the Controller of Examinations, Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, North Block, Sector-19, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar by registered / post / personally to the Commission.
Payment of traveling expenses :-
(i) A native of Chhattisgarh, who is not in any service and is a candidate of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) declared by the Government of Chhattisgarh, will be given ordinary status on appearing in the examination under the prevailing rules of the Government of Chhattisgarh.
Cash payment of the actual ticket fare amount will be made by the head of the center at the examination center before the return journey. For this, the candidates will have to fill the desired declaration form to the head of the center and will have to present all the necessary certificates related to the eligibility for traveling allowance. Therefore, they should attach a copy of the caste certificate issued by the authorized officer of the Government of Chhattisgarh or attested by a gazetted officer and the journey ticket along with the declaration form.
Only then they will be given ticket fare.
(ii) The candidates of the above categories appearing for the interview will be paid the actual ticket fare amount of ordinary class by the commission’s office on production of the desired certificate mentioned in clause 16 (i) as per the rules.
(17) The list of marks related to any written examination and interview will be issued only when the final selection list for the posts advertised through the relevant advertisement is issued.
(18) Publication of complete information / amendment etc. in relation to advertisement Issued / published in the website of the Commission. from candidates It is expected that the contents of the website/portal of the Commission Keep observing.
