The eligibility and selection process for selection of lok seva opretor will be as follows
Qualifying for selection as Lok Seva Operator :-
- The applicant must have passed at least the Higher Secondary Examination and should not be studying regularly in any other class.
- The applicant should be a computer related degree / diploma holder, for which at least Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent certificate should be mandatory.
- The applicant should be able to furnish adequate security by way of securities, insurances, bank guarantees or any other means.
- A person shall not be eligible for selection as a Public Service Operator if he is not of good moral character or has been convicted of a punishable offence.
Procedure of lok seva opretor selection :-
(a) Application in the prescribed format will be received from the interested applicants only. Self attested photocopies of educational certificates should be attached with the application form.
(b) 70 percent of the percentage obtained in the higher secondary examination given in the application form and 30 percent of the percentage obtained in computer related degree / diploma, in this way a list will be prepared on the basis of total 100 marks.
(c) On the basis of the total marks in the above list, the first 50 candidates will be invited for document verification by preparing the merit list. The list of eligible candidates will be prepared after verification of documents.
(d) After selecting 03 candidates according to the merit, a waiting list of 30 candidates will be prepared. Waiting list will be considered valid for 01 year. If the selected candidate does not join the post, the candidate resigns or is dismissed within one year, the candidates will be selected from the waiting list respectively.
(e) At present, the candidate will be selected against 03 vacant posts in the district office and tehsil office, Mahasamund. During the validity of the waiting list, the candidate will be selected from the said waiting list if the post of Public Service Operator becomes vacant in the district office and all the Tehsil offices of the district.
