Reservation for Rural, SC/ST, OBC, Girls and Children with Disabilities

  1.   At least 75% of the seats in a district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are filled from urban areas of the district.

  • **     “Locomotor Disability”  means disability of the joints of the bones or muscles leading to substantial limitation of the movement of the limbs or cerebral palsy of any kind. 
  • **     “Person with Disability”  means a person suffering from not less than forty per cent of any disability as certified by a medical authority.
