SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission, which is an organization under the Government of India for the recruitment of staff for different posts in the Ministries office, the Department of Government of India, and Subordinate offices. This organization was established on 4 November 1975. SSC CGL SYLLABUS conducts an exam for this recruitment, often known as SSC CGL, which stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination. The headquarters of SSC is in New Delhi, India.

Brief Introduction About SSC INDIA – CHECK NOW

History-: The Estimates Committee recommended setting up a Service Selection Commission on the 47th report (1967-68) in the Parliament to conduct the examination for lower post categories. On 4 November 1975, the Government of India constituted a commission called the Subordinate Service Commission. On 26 September 1977, the Subordinate Services Commission was renamed as Staff Selection Commission. The function of SSC was redefined by the Government of India, and a new function came to run on 1 June 1999. Every year, the SSC conducts the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination to recruit non-gazetted officers for various government jobs.

What Is SSC Exam Syllabus – CHECK NOW

Syllabus-: The SSC exam is conducted in two Tires. Each tire has a syllabus and qualifying criteria. The syllabuses are as follows-:

Tire-1 Syllabus-:

English Language

Reading Comprehension- Passages based on any topic. Questions are mostly fact-based & can be directly picked out of the passage. Sometimes, vocabulary questions are asked on commonly used words. Scoring, Easy to Solve, High Accuracy Possible, Time Consuming

What Is SSC Exam Syllabus – CHECK NOW

Spellings: Choose the correctly spelled word or the misspelled word from different words. The same word can be spelled in different ways, and you are asked to select the correct spelling. The number of questions may be 0-2.

Phrase or Idiom Meaning-The meaning of the phrase or Idiom can be asked in a sentence. The meaning can also be asked directly. The number of questions may be 0-2.

One Word Substitution-Substitute one word for the phrase given. Go through a list of the one-word substitutions from past papers and solve questions on one-word substitution. The number of questions may be 3-5.

Phrase Replacement/ Sentence Correction– A mix of grammar and vocabulary-based questions. ·         Interest-: Problems on Simple, Compound Interests and Installments. The number of questions may be 1-2.

How to prepare for exam-: To prepare SSC required lot of studies and dedications. The syllabus of SSC is quite lengthy and requires lots of practices. For qualifying the exam candidate should cover whole syllabus with good revision. It requires practices a lot because number of is more as compare to given time. Concentration-: Concentration is the key to success in SSC. Just concentrate on you syllabus and practice more. Do not pay any attention what going around you. Make sure your mind is not diverting to another topic which apart from your syllabus. Your mind should responsive enough to catch the concepts of topic which is discussed in book which you prefer for SSC. Our eye should on the book so that we do not miss any word or sentences while reading current affairs. Use your finger to while reading, it also maintain the concentration. While reading avoid eating and drinking. It may distract your mind.

Computer Awareness-: This topic also required practices mainly. In this section question are easy but it will easy when know knowledge about it. Go through the every topic in syllabus make notes of it and do practice. Try to give more time MS tools are present in the desktop or laptops.

Reasoning-: Reasoning is the one the toughest section in the SSC. It requires lot time to solve. For reasoning, extra times to solve as these questions are very tricky and complex. Solve question from previous asked in exams. You get the idea how reasoning question are asked. Reasoning also contains a good score in SSC. It is very helpful qualifying the exam if some of question goes correct. So give good portion of time to reasoning because quite time taking question to solve.

How to fill online form-:  There are three steps to fill the online application form. The steps are as follows-:

§  Online Registration-: For registration candidate should visit the official website of SSC. There he/she can selects post and fill the registration form online. While filling form candidates should keep beside all documents like 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, Graduation if requires, Aadhar Card, PAN card etc. As per 10th mark sheet fill your name, father name and mother name if required. Fill the marks obtain of respected educations which are asked. Arrange the photo of you digital as required size(10 kb to 35 kb) and signature of size 1 kb to 20 kb also respectively. After clicking on Submit button you will get registration number followed by a unique password.

§  Fill the Application form-: After Login the page using registration number followed by password you will get form in front of you. In this page you select the examination centre and ages relaxation if you exceed the age limit. You will select the post preference according to your interest. Fill your address and permanent address. Check whole form twice and if error than correct according to your printed document which is in your hand. After rechecking your click the I Agree button and proceed to payment page.

§  Payment-: While payment it ask mode of payment. The fee of examination is 100 rupee (all women, SC/ST and physically disable candidate do not have to pay any rupee). You can pay the fee via SBI or any other bank using internet banking or with credit card or debit card.  Click on confirm and fill all the detail which is like card number, cvv code etc. Click to precede button and e-print of your form receipt will come only after successful transaction of fee.

§  Eligibility Criteria-:  The candidate who wants to apply in SCC exam should pass the bachelor from the recognized University with 60%. The age should be 18-30  year old.
