(v) UKSSC 2024 Educational Qualifications:-
(a) UKSSC 2024 Essential Qualifications:-
- It is necessary to pass the Intermediate examination of Uttarakhand Secondary Council or any other examination recognized by the government equivalent to it.
- Other things being equal, preferential qualifications, in the case of direct recruitment, will be given to such candidate
Preference will be given to those who:-
(1) who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
(2) Must have obtained “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps.

(vii) Compulsory Physical Test:-
Note 1:- It will be mandatory for the candidates from hilly areas to submit the certificate of hilly area for relaxation in physical qualifications.
Note 2:- Physical measurement and efficiency test for the posts of Excise Constable will be marks based and the efficiency test will have 3 items as per departmental rules. Each item will be of 20 marks. Thus, this physical measurement and efficiency test will be of total 60 marks. Will be done as per the prescribed standards.
