Under UKSSC Abkari Vacancy 2024 Group ‘C’ by Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission, 118 vacant posts of Transport Constable in the Transport Commissioner Organization, 100 vacant posts of Excise Constable in the Office of Excise Commissioner, 14 vacant posts of Deputy Excise Inspector in the Office of Excise Commissioner, Govind Ballabh Pant Agriculture And online applications are invited for selection through direct recruitment on 02 vacant posts of Hostel Manager Grade-3 in Technological University, Pantnagar and 02 vacant posts of House Mata/House Keeper in Women Welfare Department i.e. a total of 236 vacant posts. Interested candidates can apply online on the Commission’s website, www.sssc.uk.gov.in, till 31.12.2023.

To select candidates, the Commission will conduct an objective competitive examination offline or online. The date mentioned regarding the competitive analysis is approximate. Information about the review date will be sent separately on the Commission’s website, press releases in daily newspapers, and through SMS to the candidates on the mobile phone number they gave them in the online application form. It will also be made available through e-mail. Candidates can download their admit cards from the Commission’s website only. Admit cards will not be issued by the Commission through post. Important information will also be given to the candidates on the Commission’s website, E-Mail or SMS. We will meet from. Therefore, candidates should fill only their phone/mobile number and e-mail in the application form. The Commission will publish all the information on its website.   1. It is necessary to pass the Intermediate examination of Uttarakhand Secondary Education Council or any examination recognized equivalent by the government.
  2. Two years’ experience of working as a house keeper in a government organization or a reputed nursing home.

Syllabus of written examination:-

For the selection of the above posts, there will be an objective type multiple choice (Objective Type with Multiple Choice) competitive examination of 02 hours of 100 marks, in which there will be questions related to the educational qualification of the post. Candidates should refer to Appendix-01 for the examination syllabus.

Written Competitive Examinations:-

(i) It is mandatory for General and OBC category candidates to score 45 percent minimum qualifying marks and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates 35 percent, otherwise they will be considered ineligible in the written competitive examination.

(ii) Candidates are allowed to take the question booklet of offline written competitive examination with them after the examination.

(iii) O.M.R. Answer Sheet of offline written competitive examination

Will be in triplicate. At the end of the written competitive examination, every candidate will compulsorily submit the original and duplicate answer sheet to the room invigilator of his/her examination room. Failure to do so will render the result of the concerned candidate void. Candidates are allowed to take the third copy of the OMR answer sheet with them. If the examination is conducted online, then after the completion of the examination, the candidates will be given their examination material like question booklet and answer options given therewith and its key through online medium.

(iv) Four answer options will be given for each question. The candidate has to select the best correct one from the four answer options. For each wrong answer given by the candidate to each question, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as negative mark.

(v) If a candidate gives more than one answer to any question, it will be considered a wrong answer, even if one of the answers given is correct, still the same negative mark will be given for that question as above. .

(vi) If a question is not attempted by the candidate, i.e. the answer is not given by the candidate, then no negative marks will be given for that question.

(vii) Use of whitener or scratching/cutting of substitutes etc. in the OMR sheet is prohibited and negative marks will be given for this also.

(viii) If any candidate mentions wrong roll number or wrong booklet series in his OMR sheet or does not mention anything, then his OMR sheet will not be evaluated, in such a situation the candidature of the candidate will be considered automatically cancelled.

(ix) In case of online written competitive examination, the question paper and the given answer options will be available only on the monitor / computer / tab provided to the candidate.

UKSSC 2024 Merit List :-

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written competitive examination. In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks, seniority will be determined on the basis of age (the senior candidate will come first and the junior candidate will come next). The list of finally selected candidates will be published on the website of the Commission.

UKSSC 2024 Age:-

The final date of age calculation for all the above posts is July 01, 2023. Thus, for the posts of Transport Constable (Transport Commissioner Organisation), the age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on the said date, for the posts of Excise Constable (Office of Excise Commissioner), the age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years on the said date. For the posts of Hostel Manager Grade-3 (Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar), the age of the candidate as on the said date should be minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years and for the posts of Deputy Excise Inspector (Office of Excise Commissioner) and House Mother/House Keeper (Female). For the posts of (Women Welfare Department), the age of the candidate should not be minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years as on the said date.

(a) Provided that relaxation of 05 years in the maximum age limit is allowed to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class of Uttarakhand State as per Government Order No. 1399 dated 21 May 2005. According to Government Order No. 1244, dated May 21, 2005, relaxation of 10 years in the maximum age limit for Group ‘C’ posts is allowed to the disabled candidates of Uttarakhand. Relaxation of 05 years in the maximum age limit is permissible for the candidates who are dependents of freedom fighters of Uttarakhand as per Government Order No. 1244 dated May 21, 2005. As per Notification No. 6/1/72 Personnel-2 dated 25th April, 1977, ex-servicemen of Uttarakhand will be allowed to reduce the period of their service in the Armed Forces from their actual age and if the resultant age for the post/service is If the person for whom he wishes to be appointed does not exceed the prescribed maximum age limit by 03 years, then it will be considered that he fulfills the condition related to higher age limit.

UKSSC 2024 Eligibility for Application:-

For recruitment to direct recruitment posts of Group ‘C’ outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, it is necessary to have one of the following mandatory / desirable qualifications: –

That (a) The candidate should have been registered in any employment office located in the state of Uttarakhand till the last date of receipt of applications.

(b) The candidate should be a holder of permanent residence certificate of Uttarakhand state.

(c) In case the candidate does not have the permanent residence certificate of Uttarakhand state, the candidate must have passed his high school or intermediate or its equivalent level of education from recognized institutions located in the state of Uttarakhand.

(d) According to the government’s letter no. 1097/XXX(2)/2011 dated 08.08.2011, “Employment for the persons who are already employed in state services, but are willing to apply against the posts advertised in this advertisement.” There is no need for registration in the office. “According to Uttarakhand Government’s letter no. 310/XXX (2)/2015 dated 28.07.2015, only the services of Uttarakhand state are included under the services under the state.”

Such candidates, who are working in services other than the services of Uttarakhand state, can get themselves registered in the employment office by obtaining no objection certificate from their department for registration in the employment office. The above candidates, as per the claims made in their online application form and have submitted certificate of registration in the Employment Exchange in the State of Uttarakhand, will be provisionally qualified with the condition that, Present a certificate that they have obtained the No Objection Certificate from their department for registration in the employment office and this information has been given to the concerned employment office. Thus, those candidates will be considered eligible only after presenting certificates to the effect of both the above mentioned.

(e) According to the Government’s letter No. 809/XXX(2)/2010-3(1)/2010 dated 14.08.2012, “The ex-servicemen who have been registered in any District Soldier Welfare and Rehabilitation Office of Uttarakhand State, they will be re- There will be no need to register in the employment office and the certificate of registration issued to the concerned ex-servicemen by the District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office will be considered equivalent to registration in the employment office.

Note:- For a candidate to apply online, it is necessary to fulfill any one of the eligibility conditions mentioned in paragraph A, B, C, D, E, which is applicable to the candidate.

UKSSC 2024 No Objection Certificate:-

It will be mandatory for the candidates who are in government/semi-government service on the date of application to submit departmental no objection certificate.

UKSSC 2024 Nationality:-

For direct recruitment to any post in the service, it is necessary that the candidate:-

(a) is a citizen of India; Or

(b) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(c) is a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or any of the East African countries, Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) with the intention of permanently settling in India:

Provided that it will be necessary for a candidate of appropriate category (b) or (c) to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government.

Provided that the candidates of Category (B) will also be expected to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence Branch, Uttarakhand.

Provided also that if a candidate belongs to category (c) above, the certificate of eligibility will not be issued for a period exceeding one year and such candidate will be kept in service beyond a period of one year subject to the condition that: That he has acquired Indian citizenship.

Note:- A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, but it has neither been issued nor refused, can be included in any examination and subject to this condition He can also be appointed provisionally, provided the necessary certificate is obtained by him or issued in his favour.

UKSSC 2024 Character-

The character of the candidate for direct recruitment to any post in the service should be such that he is suitable in all respects for employment in the government service. Even during the selection process, if the candidate’s conduct is not found appropriate, his/her candidature will be canceled and appropriate action will be taken against him/her. Punitive action as per rules will also be taken by the Commission for disrupting the sanctity of the examination.

UKSSC 2024 Marital Status:-

A male candidate who has more than one wife living or a female candidate who has married a man who already has one wife living will not be eligible for appointment to any post in the service. Provided that the Governor may, if he is satisfied that there are special reasons for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

UKSSC 2024 Physical fitness:-

No candidate shall be appointed to any post in the Service unless he is in good mental and physical health and is free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties. There is a possibility of. Before any candidate is finally approved for appointment through direct recruitment, he will be expected to comply with the rules made under Fundamental Rule 10 in Chapter 3 of Finance Handbook Volume-II, Part-III. Medical Council’s certificate of fitness as per Submit.

UKSSC 2024 Reservation:-

Upward Reservation- Reservation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Castes, Economically Weaker Sections and other categories of Uttarakhand state will be done as per the orders of the State Government in force at the time of recruitment.

Horizontal reservation: Horizontal reservation will be given to freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, women and orphan candidates of Uttarakhand as per the provisions of Uttarakhand and the rules/mandates issued by the state government from time to time. It is mandatory to upload the certificate of reservation category/subcategory along with the application form.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Section will be available only to those candidates who do not get reservation for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class.

To get reservation for Other Backward Classes, only ‘certificate issued for services of Uttarakhand State Government’ will be valid.

The result of the candidate who applies for reservation will be declared in the same category or sub-category, unless he gets a place in the merit of Open Category. At the time of records verification, it will be mandatory to present the certificate related to reserved category/sub-category till the last date of filling the application form.

(i) “Ex-Serviceman” means a resident of Uttarakhand who has served as a combatant or non-combatant in the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force and who

(i) after earning his pension, retires from such service; has retired, or

(ii) has been released from such service on medical grounds, as may be required for military service, or has been released due to circumstances beyond his control and who is medically or has been granted other qualification pension, or

(iii) who has been released without his own request in consequence of reduction in the establishment of such service, or

(iv) has been released from such service after completing a specified period but has not been released on his own request, or has not been dismissed or relieved on account of misconduct or inefficiency and who has been paid gratuity and includes the following categories of personnel of the Territorial Army – (i) (ii) persons in receipt of pension for continuous organized service,

(ii) persons disqualified from medical requirements by reason of military service, and

(iii) recipients of gallantry awards.

(iv) The result of the category of reservation for which the candidate has applied will be declared in the same category or sub-category, unless he gets a place in the merit of Open Category. At the time of record verification, it will be mandatory to present the certificate related to reserved category/sub-category till the last date of filling the application form at the time of record verification.

में शासन द्वारा यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि “the ex-servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the State Govt. in Groups C & D will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for ex-servicemen for securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group C/D under the State Govt. However, such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit of reservation for ex-servicemen in State Govt. jobs.”

3- No relaxation or benefit of reservation is admissible in the prescribed horizontal reservation to the dependents of ex-servicemen or their dependents.

(ii) “Dependent of a freedom fighter” means (one) son and daughter (married or unmarried) (two) grandson (son’s son) and granddaughter (son’s daughter) (married or unmarried) (three) of the freedom fighter. Is from daughter’s son/daughter.

note 2:-

  1. According to the latest provisions of the Government Orders, 19% of the total cadre posts sanctioned for Scheduled Castes of Uttarakhand, 04% of the total cadre posts sanctioned for Scheduled Tribes of Uttarakhand, 04% of the total cadre posts sanctioned for Other Backward Classes of Uttarakhand.

Upward reservation of 14% and 10% of the total sanctioned cadre posts for economically weaker sections is permissible. In the release, reservation received from the employer’s department as per the roster has been given.

  1. According to the latest provisions of the Government Orders, 30% horizontal reservation for women of Uttarakhand, 05% for ex-servicemen of Uttarakhand, 02% for dependents of freedom fighters of Uttarakhand, 04% for disabled people and 05% for orphan children. Will be permissible. 3. If a candidate claims reservation in more than one sub-category, he/she can claim reservation in only one sub-category.

Which will be more beneficial for him, he will be eligible to get the benefit. 4. The benefit of reservation will be available only on presentation of valid certificate of the respective reservation category.

Note 3:- Candidates should see Appendix-1 for the course and Appendix-2(a), 2(b), 2(c), 2(d), 2(f) for the forms related to reservation. Candidates should get their certificates prepared as per Appendix-2.

Note 4:- The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased.

Procedure for making online application:-

This process will be circulated along with the application form on the online application start date.

Note:- The application form will be considered completely filled only when the fee is received in the Commission’s account by the prescribed date.

Candidates should read the following important instructions and conditions before filling the application form:-

(1) Filling the application form carefully is an important task. Candidates should fill the application form only after carefully reading the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post, validity of employment registration, categories and sub-categories of reservation etc., because it is not possible to scrutinize the online form without certificates/attachments. If there is any kind of error in this, the candidature can be canceled even after the final selection.

(2) Candidates must indicate the category/sub-category related to vertical and horizontal reservation in the online application form. In case reservation is not claimed, order dated 08.06.2010 passed by the Honorable High Court, Nainital in Writ Petition (Special Appeal) No. 79/2010 Radha Mittal vs. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. (S) In view of the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in 19532/2010, the benefit of reservation will never be allowed to the candidate. It is necessary for the candidate to possess the reservation related certificate till the last date of submission of application form. At present, reservation is also allowed for candidates belonging to economically weaker section. Candidates applying in this category should also obtain the relevant certificate by the last date of application.

(3) Candidates should ensure that they possess the mandatory educational qualifications and all other required qualifications by the last date of filling the online application form.
